Flare Jeans Your Closet Needs
Yay for my first "fashion" blog post! Part of the reason I started this blog was to showcase my daily outfits and I am very excited to share a pair of my favorite jeans. I will not lie, I definitely have an on and off again love-hate relationship with jeans. In college, it was super easy to throw on a pair of black leggings and jet off to class, but now that I am doing more and more things, I have, once again, found my love for denim. Not to mention I have somehow acquired four pairs of denim alone since the summer began *insert monkey covering eyes emoji.*
Another difficult thing I have found with denim in the past is finding the perfect brand that will provide effortlessly cute jeans that are extremely comfortable and at a reasonable price. Part of the reason I was not wearing jeans as much as I am now is because I had yet to find my go-to brand. The denim brand I now can't stop raving over: Topshop.
My go-to style of denim has always been a skinny jean. I mean they can be worn with Converse, boots, sandals, anything. But when I came across a pair of the Topshop Dree Flare Jeans at Nordstrom Rack a couple months ago, I couldn't resist. I want to say I got these jeans for under $25, which is crazy because they typically retail for $70 full-price. Before you say "aren't flare jeans so out of style," check these out! If you want a similar pair to these, you can find them here!
The best thing about them is that they are a cropped flare jean, setting them apart from the traditional full-length, full-on 70s bell-bottoms. The other thing I love about these jeans is that they are fitted through the knee, giving it a nice shape to my body and not drowning my legs in denim on denim. They are also one of the most comfortable pairs of denim that I own; definitely making them perfect for a summer adventure.
My favorite thing to wear with these jeans is a classic fitted white tee or white bodysuit. I think it looks so cute to have a fitted top that is tucked in, since a flowy top with a pair of flares can easily make anyone look boxy. The white bodysuit I am wearing is a cheap, yet classic, bodysuit from Forever 21. Even though it is simple from the front, the detail in the back ties the outfit together. I can't find the exact bodysuit on the Forever 21 website, but this one is quite similar!
